Please read these terms. If you use this website, download the game, or create an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree to all of them, do not use the site or the game.

In these terms, "we" means ReaverGames Ltd, which developed Runewards, released it in 2018, and operates the game and this website today.

You confirm that you are able to enter into this agreement and that you are not barred from using the service under the law of your country. If we change these terms, the new version is published on this page and applies from the day it appears. Continuing to use the game after that means you accept it.

Runewards is a free-to-play turn-based card game for Windows PC, played against the computer or against another player, on servers we host ourselves.

Playing needs your own computer and your own internet connection. We do not provide either, and we are not responsible for hardware, software or connection problems at your end.

You need an account to play. You must be 13 or older to create one. If you are between 13 and 18, review these terms with a parent or guardian before you agree to them.

One account is for one person. You may not sell, buy, gift, trade or transfer an account, and any attempt to do so is void.

Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us if you think your password has been lost, stolen or seen by somebody else.

We will not accept an offensive or obscene username, and we may ban one without notice.

An account that has not been used for twelve months may be deleted. We will try to email you first, at the address on the account.

When you create an account you get a non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the game software for your own personal, non-commercial use.

You may not transfer, sell, exchange, copy, publish, distribute or assign the software, the game content or the material on this website, or anything derived from them.

Where the game or the site lets you write something other people can read, you are responsible for what you write. Do not post any of the following:

• Content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, fraudulent, or that invades somebody else’s privacy.
• Content that encourages a criminal offence or breaks any applicable law.
• Content that infringes a patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other right of anybody else.
• Content that impersonates another person, or misrepresents who you are connected with.
• Advertising, unsolicited promotion, or political campaigning.
• Private information about anybody else, including addresses, phone numbers and email addresses.
• Files that carry a virus, or that are otherwise harmful or destructive.

Messages you send through the game pass through our servers. We may look at them, though we are not obliged to, and we may remove anything posted through the game or the site. Do not treat in-game messages as private.

The service will be interrupted from time to time, for scheduled maintenance and for reasons outside our control. We cannot promise the game will be available whenever you want to play, and we are not liable for an interruption, a delay, or a failure to perform.

We may change or remove any part of the service.

We may suspend, restrict or close an account, with or without notice, where these terms have been broken. How severe the response is depends on what happened and how often.

You may close your account at any time by writing to [contact address]. Closing your account is your remedy if you are unhappy with the service or with these terms.

When an account is closed, its progress and collection go with it and cannot be restored.

A small number of people may have an epileptic seizure when exposed to certain light patterns or flashing images on a screen. Some people have such a condition without knowing it. If you or anyone in your family has an epileptic condition, speak to a doctor before playing.

Stop playing and speak to a doctor if you experience dizziness, altered vision, eye or muscle twitches, loss of awareness, disorientation, involuntary movement or convulsions.

The game, this website and everything in them are provided as they are, and as available, without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free of error, or that faults will be corrected.

Anything you download is at your own risk, and you are responsible for any damage to your computer or loss of data that follows from it.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages of any kind arising from your use or misuse of the game or the site, including loss of data, loss of business or lost profits.

Some jurisdictions do not allow that exclusion. Where that is the case, our liability is limited to the fullest extent the applicable law allows.

The game is free. There are no purchases, no in-game currency sold for money, and therefore no fees to refund.

This site may link to sites run by other people, as a convenience. Those sites are not under our control, and we are not responsible for what is on them. A link is not an endorsement.

You may create a plain text link to this site, provided it does not present the game in a false, misleading or derogatory way. Do not use the Runewards logo, wordmark or artwork to link here without written permission, and do not frame the site inside another page.

This agreement is governed by the law of [jurisdiction], and any dispute goes to the courts of [jurisdiction].

This agreement, together with the privacy policy, is the whole of what is agreed between you and us about the game and this site.
